Motherfuck! I was hoping he'd be back in the next couple of weeks and could fill in at G the rest of the year. The OL is very thin right now with a lot of football to be played.

Confused as to why this was necessary if he was still able to come back this season or playoffs.

Gabe Carimi will soon undergo surgery to repair his right knee and the Bears' first-round draft pick is expected to need about four months to rehabilitate.

Carimi, who was injured during the second quarter of the Week 2 game in New Orleans, had arthroscopic surgery on the knee Nov. 11 and the decision has been made for him to have a more involved procedure that should strengthen and tighten his knee, according to an NFL source.

Lies, all of it. ZZ told us that he was sure Carimi wasn't going to go on the IR and would be just fine and Hanie is awesome and Larry hates any player that took his boyfriend Chris Harris's spot and ZZ said that the Bears were fine and Martz is great and Olsen wasn't going to be trades and....

Are there any marginal first rounders with a criminal record and a degenerative knee or back that Angelo can take in this year's first round?

Since this is Carimi's second knee dislocation, is there any reason to believe he will be consistently healthy in the future? A four-month rehab time is significant given that Carimi needed to build lower body strength in the offseason.

No. Every time you dislocate a joint or whatnot the joint becomes more and more unstable.

Well Columbo bounced back from all of the injuries to have a somewhat servicable career on other teams and he walks like Frankenstien.

IIRC Columbo just kept breaking his ankle or something. He wasn't like Angelo's other 1st round picks that already had a history of injuries.
