You have written how you dont enjoy Laurence on an unintentional comedy level.

Is this 100% of the time? or Close?

Personally whether you are a fan of the guy or not, he says a few things that make you laugh one way or the other.

This sounds great.

Like I've said before....so many times....I really am a fan of Laurence and an even bigger fan of his solo show. I am not alone. The only difference is I am not affraid to admit it. Others are. They mask it in hatred because they want to fit in. Oh, they will listen. But they will call it bad. You make it a habit of listening to bad things? Not likely.

I'll say it again, there is no reason to listen to Sir when Hood is on at the same time. He is simply better in just about every aspect of broadcasting. I think people forget there is an alternative due to what ESPN provides during the rest of the day and end up sticking with Holmes not out of want but out of necessity.

Laurence is better by the slimmest of margins

I listened to Hoods show for the first time in a long time last week. Very good. I wish they didn't come on at the same time...

Not even in the same realm. Hood just made some bad choices, he would make such a better host than Larry, solo or with Spiegs.

Hood and Spiegs! That's a solid D Line!

Hood must have greeted you warmly...

They are both very good. Laurence's show is still better...

Mac could have just taken this entire week off. Laurence and Matt put on a fantastic show.

Show is great today. I've come to the conclusion that I would listen to this pairing every day. Meatpants is such a better listen when Laurence is there...

It may be an age demographic thing, I don't know. Could be their willingness to discuss the NBA as well...

there's a simple answer why spiegel sounds better with laurence--he doesn't sound like a clone. mac and spiegel may as well be the same person talking. same inflections, same patterns of off-topic nonsense...the only difference is that spiegel researches much better than mac does.
