My wife and I are watching this again. Awesome. I would understand if like people that didn't like the original version funny and stuff. Like the young, or the suck. But this has been awesome. If you don't like it, go screw your hand and stuff.

Some funny moments in the first few episodes. I feel about the same way I felt near the end of their run. Sort of like I felt as the Simpsons got past their 10th or so season. I watch it because I want to see Homer do or say something stupid. Similarly, I want B&B to say something stupid.

Also, read an interesting perspetive that there is no way B&B can get the same impact that they once did. I remember the outrage from parents when the show hit the air, Beavis smoking was a big controversy, etc. Now all these reality shows are reaching a level of dumb that cannot be matched, which makes it only fitting that Judge has B&B making fun of them.

Did anyone catch the part where Beavis was telling the story of his guidance counselor taking him into his van...the next thing Beavis remembers is waking up and the counselor telling him his but would be sore.

I immediately thought of Jerry Sandusky.

Remember when you mom tried to lose you in Ikea? She couldn't find her way out and she kept passing by you.

I'm finding the cartoons to be rather meh, but the videos and the skewering of the reality shows to be top notch. Watching the MGMT video in the first episode was hysterical.

the first two cartoons of the werewolf thing and "sick" are classic B&B. "tech support" had some really funny moments too. but really, i never thought the cartoon segments were as funny as the videos anyway...so that's mostly what i look for. while the satire was perhaps more commanding and potent back then, i still think the segments are funny and the show's still damn entertaining.

i think this is also the only example of a reboot that includes the original "cast".

I thought last nights episodes were the weakest of the new lot.

I did like the line when Beavis states his checklist for a woman...at least one boob and not his mother.

Butthead chimes in "My list is the same, except with your mother."

Mother jokes are always a good laugh

I thought the one where they went to the movies and were the only guys watching Twilight was great. I also enjoyed the "may we have your daughter's hand" episode. Anytime Butt-head tries to sound serious slays me.

The MGMT video from earlier this season was so ridiculous. Submitting that poor kid to the scary looking creatures pissed me off, but B&B's comments were hilarious.

"Did she just call her grandkid 'bitch?' You tell 'em, Grandma J-Wow."

I dunno. To me, they haven't missed a beat and remain just as dumb (in a good way) and funny as they were years ago.

One question: when they cut to them on the couch, commenting on videos or reality shows, doesn't the footage look like stuff from the '90s? Their dialogue is in sync with what's shown, but the drawing looks different or more crude than the episodic stuff.

yes, ed, that's just stock footage from the earlier episodes.

i agree with you; i don't think it's lost a step either. and as always, the topical show segments are the best part.

I'm so glad they brought this back. This episode, as most of the others have been, is hilarious.

This is pretty scary/cool. A friend of mine from elementary and junior high school, Kevin Kirkpatrick is a pretty well respected prosthetic make up artist (he did work in a lot of things, including the upcoming Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) in hollywood. But he made a real life version of Beavis and Butthead:

That is what was on my facebook page this morning, he has a whole slide show of them. I thought he did Butt-head better but still pretty cool.
