I don't know who laid the bigger egg today, Dallas or Orlando. The Magic look brutal and confused.

And my bad, Merry Christmas Kid.

Merry Christmas bro.

Yeah, I'm in agreement on Shumpert. I like his game and I think he'll get better. I just still maintain that D'Antoni is not the right guy to get these guys where they need to go.

But like KS said, the Knicks just need a real, honest-to-God point guard. Not somebody great, but somebody that can get them into their stuff and calm them down when needed. They had trouble getting into their sets on nearly every possession. I know Baron being out didn't help much, but Baron isn't exactly a pure PG either.

Landry Fields for Eric Bledsoe or Mo Williams? Who says no?

Mo Williams would look good in a Knicks uniform.

Even somebody like Ridnour would be a bit of an upgrade no?

Not sure about that.

Man, that Magic game was a big steaming pile of motherfuck. I would've liked to have been entertained. Two of the five games have sucked today. Hopefully this Clippers/Warriors deal will be at least watchable.

How do you guys think Jackson is going to do as a head coach?

So, KS, is there any reason to be excited about the Rockets this year, other than being a homer? :D

I think he's gonna do well. He always struck me as a guy with a really good head for the game and a high basketball IQ. He was somewhat of a coach on the floor in his playing days, so it's not much of a transition for him. And I also think he's the type of guy who can get his team to play hard for him.

The Blake Show, Paul, Curry, c'mon man, this'll be entertaining regardless. The Clips are must see TV and I'm happy as a pig in shit to see them Feb 13th.

Bill Simmons is completely right, him and D'Antoni need to switch teams. He's gonna get fired soon if he tries to play a defense-first gameplan with Lee, Curry, and Ellis. But, if he can work with his personell, them three plus Biedrins and Udoh are a solid five to work with. I think they'll make the playoffs if he's competent.

Merry Christmas my dear Homer!!

No, there is absolutely no reason to get excited about the Rockets this year, or anytime within the next 10 years or so. :(

I would recommend jumping on either the Bulls, Thunder, Heat, Clippers or Knicks bandwagon. :)

Thanks, KS...that's what I thought, but was hoping that better NBA minds might know more. :(

I have never been, and will never be, a bandwagon fan. But since moving to Indiana and discovering Chicago sports radio, I have developed a soft spot for the Bears and Bulls. :)

I love JVG but he's dead wrong on that one - that was a blatant charge by Jordan on Smith, regardless of intent. Change the rule if you don't like it but by the book that's an easy call.

I agree.

But this hack-a-Jordan strategy is hilarious right now.

 I'm glad I'm not the only one enjoying it.

Golden State really struggles when Curry is off the floor. They have no shooters, but are better inside defensively than I figured they'd be. I have no idea what to make of them.

Blake Griffin loves to flop. It's absolutely ridiculous. He's flailing around on nearly every loose ball.

I think out disagreement precedes the Prussian-Franco war on that issue.

I'm checking out Bucks/Bobcats right now. Gotta see my boy Jennings.

Also gonna take a look at Minnesota/OKC.

I wish the Knicks had a game tonight. I think I'm gonna make them my new "other" team.

Interesting. Looks like Skiles has Livingston playing PG while Jennings is serving as the two.

Skiles is gonna strangle Stephen Jackson before the year is out. Guy just got back into the game and immediately takes a horrible 3 with like 20 on the shot clock.

I was just gonna say that, especially Livingston. I think cutting off that afro has made him aerodynamic.

But I like how they're posting him up. He's a 6'8" point guard. He can take that matchup whenever he wants.

Washington's spanking New Jersey 33 to 13 early. Love the Wizards' new uniform/court scheme.
