The WJC starts today on NHL network with a double header of Canada vs Finland and then USA vs Denmark. If you haven't seen the WJC I highly recommend checking it out. Its always an awesome tournament featuring tomorrow's NHL stars. Canada is already out to a 2-0 lead early vs Finland.

The big game is New years eve when USA takes on Canada in their annual grudge match.

The other team to watch this year is Russia which features the two probable top picks in next year's draft.

Hope fully Canada doesn't run up the score against teams like Trinidad and Tobago ala the mighty ducks this year. I'll stick to the US this year starting tonight... It was nice watching Hall in this a few years ago, and seeing what he is starting to become as an NHL player today... Let's see who stands out this year

Nice start for USA. Only thing of concern is the PK, but hopefully they can work that out.


Team speed looks very impressive, can't wait to see if that's legit or just a figment of playing against Denmark. Next up is the Czechs I think.
