He's 76 more losses away from navigating this team right out of making it to the Postseason. I've had just about enough of this guy.

Fire Sveum!

I expected some fire. Some passion. Maybe some wins. So far? Not one fucking win, whistler. You don't go to the playoffs without any wins. Enough of this bullshit. Bring us a real manager.

This lost something here and has reached a level of concern.

Anyway, I for one am tired of this winless season and demand that Ricketts and his puppets fire Svuem immediately.

Hey, believe me, baldness will catch on. When the aliens come, who do you think they're gonna relate to? Who do you think's gonna be the first ones getting a tour of the ship?

They need to just blow this fucking team up. First, they need to get rid of that jagbag they hired as a GM, who let Aramis Ramirez go and is probably looking to get rid of Alphonso Soriano. Then they can get rid of that damn manager, who hasn't won shyte as a Major League Manager.

Yeah, and a dash of olive brine and stuffed olives. Bleu Cheese when available.

Dirty is fine. Bacterial laden aged milk products stuffed in olives are fine. However, vermouth is not. Case closed.

Ok. I will listen to my elder here and experiment with straight gins. But I'm keeping my olives for now. Ok... I've got Bombay Blue and Tangueray. Tonight is Fat Tires but tomorrow night I'll have a few without my beloved vermouth and see what's the difference.

By virtue of calling vermouth beloved, you should stick your head in the nearest commode and depress the lever.

He hasnt even gotten a chance to lose the NLCS yet. At least call for his head after he pulls Garza in game 1 to save him later on in the series.

Which, in fairness, happened in the NLDS.

Didnt you read the other thread? The Cubs are losing in the NLCS this year.

Obviously pulling a game 1 starter in the NLDS isnt enough to be fired, Lou taught us that.

Cub fans are going have to get used to accepted SABRmetric principles like the idea that batting order has little to no effect on run scoring. WELCOME THEO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on JORR. The notion of having this guy bat first forced Lou into early retirement. Hendry liked the idea too...first batter home run and all.

Big boy baseball, beni! Computer modeling shows that run scoring is unrelated to batting order. Put the names in a hat and shake 'em up!
