Names I have seen on twitter already:

Mike Tice
Jeremy Bates
Brian Billick

My guess is Tice gets it, but I would love to see Billick get it.

Agreed. Will be a scaled back Martz offense in which Cutler will be allowed to audible.

I'll go with Jeremy Bates, who Jay Cutler worked with in Denver. According to NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora however, there was a degree of friction between Cutler & Bates when he went to Seattle instead of here for 1 season.

What's he doing these days? I remember he worked with Kevin Harlan on the "NFL on FOX" as well as the "NFL on CBS" once his coaching tenure ended...

I think Brian Billick is in no hurry to coach again, guys. Why would Brian leave his current gig with the NFL Network, not to mention with Thom Brennaman & Laura Okmin on the "NFL on FOX"?

I wouldn't have a problem with that.

Image What does his partner or sideline reporter have to do with him staying at FOX? He would stay there for the money, SHARK. Not for his sideline reporter.

He has directed some very successful NFL offenses while a coordinator.

Listening to him on the tv/radio he seems like a guy that has a real solid understanding of what to do with a QB like Cutler and would be a guy who would really build things around his strengths and not expect everyone to bend to his way.

Tice would be a smooth transistion and he is already on the books.

The Bears will promote Mike Tice to OC.

I don't want Brian Billick anywhere near Chicago. No thanks.

Why not him, but you would drive to the airport to pick up Mike Shanahan?

Brian Billick's staying right where he is. He's in no hurry to leave his TV gigs.

Maybe you're right. The good thing about Billick getting a coaching job is he would no longer be on my TV making mistakes.
