It''d also be silly to not acknowledge mistakes made as well. Excuses are way too convenient. Not enough billboards, the other show was simulcast, they dont let me talk politics, Jiggs doesnt want to do more cutting edge stuff, I should have a solo show, I need a partner, I need a better partner, I need a female persepctive; etc. Mike has lived a greast life due to hard work and an entertaining style. Mike has made more money than most of us will ever see. I acknowledge his hustle and what he did to put this station on the map. I'll leave it at that.

This is the most I've listened to Mac & Speigel in a while. Mac hardly said anything and Speigel came off as I'm a nice guy but here are the tough questions asked nicely. I still don't think of him as a peer Mac and B&B or a notch above drinky. Like he went out of his way to name drinky as an intern. Kind of weird.

I disagree with Goff. I think North knows why he succeeded but I don't think he has any clue why he failed. There's lots of guys like North that only want the positive stuff recognized. North glosses over the bad, it's his personality.

1) the goff is attempting to show off his dominant/alpha personality, swooping down around two middleaged white men to embrace them in such a way that says "y'all crackers are cool with me" because, as we clearly know here in the "drooler" zone of sports radio fandom, everyone wants to be down with the goff. in this case, the goff is using his status to take a moment where he hovers above people "whose hustle [he] respect[s]" or whatever.

2) pappy is clearly taking a moment to acknowledge his lord and master, lucifer, for helping him "make it" in "the business." anyone whose willing to get past their pre-programmed societal defense mechanisms can plainly see that the massmedia is run by a bunch of weird homo sun worshippers (all "devil" worship is basically some form of watered down sumerian/egyptian sun worship, aka "the ancient mysteries") --- mike has too many catholics in "his demo" to appeal to in order to be "edgy" like a fashion model or rockstar and make his salutes all kinds of overt, but on a random picture for NORTH2NORTH.COM where he's supposedly "drunk" at a wedding? BRING IT! the pseudo/black-eye is also a nice touch... maybe mike had to be reminded to pay tribute to his lord and master.

3) fred is clearly in a dissociative state, like any MKULTRA/monarch-programming slave. he's waiting for further instructions from his handler (was it mike back then? it's definitely murph now) but evne in his dissociative state he's still creeped out to be touched by a n-word.

HELL, maybe the whole picture is a clever and sneaky goff trying to show "the powers that be" that he'll LITERALLY embrace the old white devils so he can FINALLY get a piece of the pie by FINALLY telling "the greatest story never told" or whatever he wants to try and call his existence. * twilight zone theme *
