Lovie has made many contradictory statements about his offensive "philosophy" over the years. Again, I think he has done so because he lacks a clear offensive vision. As I have said previously, this is a major reason why he should be fired.

Fair enough. In your opinion, should Lovie end up staying with the team (and it appears that is likely), do you feel that his power in the organization be downgraded in terms of ability to influence the hiring of the new GM? In other words, should the Bears hire the GM to match Lovie's (lack of) philosophy or demand Lovie adjust his to that of the new GM?

It may not have been all deserved but there is a lot of smoke here that indicates that Cutler and OC's don't mix well together. I guess it could be a series of bad combinations. I guess we'll see how well the Bears do in picking the new OC. What OC wouldn't love to coach a player who you think is better than Matt Ryan and Tony Romo unless there were other issues?

Your logic is flawed. You are putting Romo on a pedastal as if Better than Romo = Great

As far as the other issues, I addressed it in the last post.

There are 10 other spots on offense and very few of them are manned by good players.

Didn'r he once come out and say he didn't know much about the offense and he had somebody in charge of it for him or something like that?

In my opinion, Lovie's influence within the organization should be minimized. But the Bears appear to be moving in the opposite direction.

the reason is lovie...coaches do not have a long shelf life under lovie.he continually uses them as scapegoats to save his own ass...i would bet more coaches have been fired under lovie then any other coach in the nfl. lovie is not a smart man and it shows with his dumb statements and actions.
