Sexual assault is a more general term that includes rape. If he is charged with sexual assault, there would be a better chance to convict because it is a much broader charge. It even includes sexual harrassment.

I just wonder how this is going to affect his ability to get a visa. You hear all the time of foreign players reporting late to spring training because of visa issues. They have almost 2 months to get this resolved but if it was reported 3 months ago the case doesn't seem to be moving very quickly.

Mark Grace only got to second base. He usually only did that with two outs and no men on!

My point is that a 21 year old is gonna find booze and women when your job ends at 10pm every night. Nobody should be blamed. People act like he's the only one and if it weren't for Soriano he'd be in bed at 11pm every night.

Also, why wasn't the beloved Mark Grace ever blamed for being a bad influence on the younger players when he was a veteran? Soriano gets it but Grace doesn't. Don't tell me that racism doesn't play a part in this. It does.

Who am I calling out as a racist? Steve Stone. He's dropped the hints that Soriano is bad for Castro cuz of the late nights, booze and women. Never have I ever heard him do that with famed Cubs that were white drunks like Sutcliffe and Grace. He sang their praises for years and still would to this day.
