Hey Cairo you said a while back you had the Murph soaping up clip? Also, do you have the Mark Buehrle hunting segment from this summer where the guy called in to argue that a lot of people hunt for food? That was an absolute classic.

Also this is a complete shot in the dark, but do you remember a few years ago when the Bears announced a new policy that you had to have a ticket to tailgate at Soldier Field, an irate guy called in and said it would ruin his gameday experience because he would always have his mom cook his tailgate food and then sit in the car during the game? Looking at when the policy was announced, I believe the show would have been either August 6 or 7, 2008.

That show damn near got me fired from my job because I was laughing so loud in my office. I’m assuming you don’t have that but I figured I’d check.

I've never heard that call but it sounds funny. I don't have much from 2008 due to an unfortunate hard drive crash in early 2009. You may have noticed that most of my clips are from March 2009 onward. I kinda had to rebuild my vault.

It sucks because I had a lot of really funny 2003-2008 shows that I had converted from analog to digital that were lost in that hard drive crash.

I still have some stuff from 2004 and 2005 on cassette tape that I haven't converted yet, but Lord knows when I'll get around to doing that. :lol:

The other day, I was looking in a closet and I found my old Nextel phone where I recorded Boers and Bernstein's reaction to the Mully vs Murph "Face to Face Over the Phone" fight during transition. I didn't try to turn on the phone to see if it worked, but one of these days, I will try to convert it to an mp3. If no one else has it.

Man, I was so upset when I lost that stuff. I lost some classic Chicago moments like the fallout of the Sosa corked bat incident and the shows following the Bartman game and the Game 7 elimination. I even had the Hub Arkush "where did you play your ball" fallout and the original Larry Horse call (Billy in Bolingbrook). All....gone.

I did. I had another scare in January 2011 where I came close to losing every song and piece of music I'd ever recorded. I was able to retrieve everything, but at that point I decided to get serious about data backup. That would've been a straight-up tragedy.
