FF asked politely the first time, I don't think he is going to be so gracious next time.

Hell's coming to town next week.

I think the Packers are a lot more concerned with the Giants than they would have been with the Falcons.

I agree. The Pack would have destroyed the Falcons. I think they'll win this week but I wouldn't be surprise if NY won.

Underdogs led by Eli Manning are undefeated at Lambeau in the playoffs.

A Rod gonna have to bring his A game

Inexplicably, I just get the idea that the Giants will be just raped by Green Bay. Then again, who cares what I think.

Because they have a great pass rush and Eli has proven to be a great QB with a knack of clutch comebacks. I think GB is still the best team in the league that's why I said I think they'll win, but NY is capable of beating any team in the NFL.

I find that surprising given the tone in which you've talked about the Packers all year. If they can't easily beat a team that had to win in week 17 even to make it in at home then I think they were overrated by many of the people in the "Green Bay Packers" thread. The Giants are the worst team left in the NFC.

I guess I'll just always find it strange that you found no reason to worry about how any part of the team is playing and yet if Green Bay were to lose to an average team you'd simply say "Well, I am not surprised at all". Most people would be very surprised if Green Bay lost.

I disagree with you that the Giants are an average team and I think you are wrong when you say many would be surprised if the Giants won. Upsets happen a lot in the playoffs and I've heard many people say they think both NFC games next week will be very good. It wouldn't have surprised me if the Lions beat the Saints but the Saints were clearly a better team. Denver beating Pittsburgh really surprised me. I wouldn't have the same reaction to any of next weeks outcomes except if Denver wins again.

I said two months ago that I thought the Giants had the best chance of beating GB of their regular season opponents(Frank thought that was absurd), and the Giants are playing better and are more healthy now then they were at that time so I don't really see why you're so surprised.

If people aren't surprised that the 9-7 Giants who won an average division go into Green Bay and beat the defending champs who were 15-1 then they must have thought Green Bay wasn't that good.

I guess we'll put you in the "NFL playoff football is just a series of random coin flips and eventually someone wins" camp. To me though, if Rodgers and company lose to the Giants it will be a terrible loss like what the Colts were often criticized for.

It will be a pretty bad loss, but any loss would be this season. Green Bay is clearly the favorites in the league to win the Super Bowl so anything less would mark a disappointing season.

You can put me in any camp you want but this is an obvious example of you trying to fabricate an argument. I said I expected GB to win and I said I was very surprised Pitt lost and will be very surprised if NE loses this week. If I thought it was a coinflip I clearly wouldn't think that.

Allow me to throw my hat into the "would not be surprised if the NY Football Giants defeated the Green Bay Packers this weekend" ring, as well.

Let's just say it's a hunch.

He would still be behind John Elway. Rodgers has more talent around him on offense this season than Elway did his first 5 or 6 years combined.

Frank, John Elway is not the best QB ever.

He MIGHT be in the top 5.

He had more talent than Marino AND Brady

Elway career highs: 27 TD, 92 RTG

Elway's passing numbers are AWFUL compaired to the others that some call GOAT

Elway's ratings his first three years in league: 54.9 76.8 70.2
Tebow's rating this year: 75.6

And Tebow out rushed his best year by a 3:1 ratio

Tebow > Elway

Be careful using QB rating as a true determing factor.
Tebow vs. KC
2-for-8, 69 yards 1 TD -- and his rating?
102.6.
QB rating has its flaws -- and this is just one example of its faults.

If A-Rod wins a few more it's possible he will.

I'm with Frank on the Elway discussion. He won 2 superbowls and brought teams to the SB in the 80s that stunk. My top 5:

Elway
Marino
Brady
Montana
Manning

Watched this last night and really enjoyed it.

Amazing how every team in the league and all the experts missed on this guy so bad.

I wasn't aware that Marc Bulger was in the safe draft class at the time. Crazy.
