So, I'm hearing that it is unlikely he will be charged with anything. If that's the case, do the Cubs shift their marketing focus back tio him or is it too late. Did they already pull the trigger on focusing on the other.........stars?

Oh, maybe because their headliner is a rapist?

Of course, the Cubs have been raping their fans for years so maybe it fits.

But the Cubs usually give the fans the reach around of alot of beer and pretty girls in the stands while they violate their fans. For the Sox fan its just a whole lot of Adam Dunn in somebodys crawl space.

I'm fairly sure they did not shift anything at all. Even as recently as this week he was still the headliner for the Cubs Convention... I see no reason why they would have had a knee jerk reaction towards other marketing.

They've already said that their marketing campaign for this season is now more focused on Dale Sveum, whereas it was originally going to be centered on Castro.

So do you think it would be too late for them to ....switch it back if the police release a statement this weekend?

Probably not. They should be able to.

I'm not sure if they will though.

Seems like the Cubs are hiding him this weekend. No interviews.

If they were truly replacing Starlin Castro marketing, their graphics guys could have replaced Castro with a different player on that same graphic within 5 minutes, and their web guys could have replaced that JPEG immediately afterwards.

Its time to put LaHair up on all Cubs marketing materials
