From what I've heard the expectations for the team are really low. I think there may be some more moves coming, but probably most of the roster has to be complete now.

Well, I don't think that the Brewers are going to be such a big player at this time, nor the Cardinals with their miracle working coaches gone and that udder guy, but I don't think they sniff 10 games of .500.

Worst team in the majors. 55-107. Hopefully Starlin can get through the season without assaulting someone.

3-159. Theo quits in mid June, The Rickettes file for bankruptcy and Reinsdorf is given control of the team by Bud Light.

Who knows what this team may be. 77-85

I say they play 10 under .500 all year and then make a late push to get to 8 under.

Quade's gone.

Well he doesn't have a job and he is from the area so he might have asked for season tickets as part of his early termination compensation. The budweiser deck isn't going to fill itself.

For whatever reason, Im going to say they go above .500. Let's say that 83-79.

I want to save Hank from having to do that again.

But seriously, I think they'll be better than expected.

Even I cant get behind this team this year. If they finish within 5 games of .500 it will be a huge success.

The NL was generally down again last year. Christ, I am still shocked the Cardinals made the playoffs let alone won the World Series. I really have no confidence, just a hunch that they dont fall too far off .500 pace and then are able to put a little streak together near the end of the season.
