Next 3 days. True Mac does water down the Holmes effect, but as I had proclaimed Larry not so bad with others, I have softened on that opinion as Larry starts to feel much more comfortable and his terrible show concepts infect the others shows. Like Hater Wed.

The concept is OK, I guess. It's just like everything else but slamming people, it's not really new, unique, etc. which is fine, but to act as if you invented something and needs become a staple of this radio station is foolish.

Bookie Priest, maybe the finest example. North has one good idea and literally just beat it into the ground within days. Every 15 minutes commercials, promos, etc.

Good things Spiegs is getting used to cleaning up shit, cause he will need to do some wiping when he gets back.

Especially enlightening was Larry's take that the Packer fans are some of the more docile as far as treating opposing fans at Lambeau. Caller "hated" on LAURENCE. Caller called LAURENCE "Larry" and LAURENCE shouted "that's not my name". LAURENCE retorted with "Markie Mark". Caller continued to talk about how he doesn't like Holmes, and LAURENCE continued to shout back. At one point, the caller began to laugh -- as LAURENCE continued to raise his voice. That's about it.

I didn't say I was unbiased, and no one who posts here could be completely unbiased on the subject anyway.

I also never said he didn't get angry, although I don't think he did, and yes he raised his voice. He had to, to be heard over the loud caller who wouldn't stop talking so that he could respond.

I think the hysteria over being called Larry is kinda silly on Laurence's part.


It's a common shortened version of Laurence, just deal with it. Thats what I would do anyway.
