But doesn't Spiegs usually talk a lot more too. I don't think Dan's even paying attention unless it's about hockey or fishing. Regular sports and pop culture are topics that Laurence just knows more about and can talk about more easily than Dan.

Just when he was starting to take ownership of the show he is now going to most likely double his vacation time unless he quits the cover band.

We all heard Sir a couple weeks back embarrass himself with the weather girl. Enough is enough. Sir's too damn old to have game that wack.

Truth be told, Laurence and Spiegs is a really, really ( ) good show. Dan and Laurence aren't bad together either, but I would have rather The Biscuit didn't give birth yet and DaMaNee took a snow week off...

Sir's foray into pop culture are what set his detractors off.

I would never say anything as ridiculous as that. Laurence's arrow is pointing up, it can't be denied...

Dan just confirmed that Laurence does indeed have an "edge". Sounds like Dan may have learned this the hard way a long time ago...

Since when are comic books considered pop culture?
I know many 30-plus-year-old guys who can talk about baseball cards, but that doesn't make them pop culture afficianados. They're probably considered nerds.

What is up with your hard on for every comment I make? Who the hell said comic books are pop culture? You seem to be trying a little too hard to find issues. You can play this game yourself.

This is the first time I've ever heard Quadry Ismail. IMHO he's kind of annoying and needs to come up for air once in a while. Is he always like this?

It's his chronic downlow-ness.

He's pretty bad. What's with the high pitched voice he keeps breaking into for no reason?

Larry talking hockey followed by him reading internet survey polls in his best Bernstine voice is a treat. Similar to eating some candy that's not only poisoned but it also has a razor blade inside. At least he's not trying to impress with tales of his high school football coaching (wtf) or wild gambling urges.

Disagree.

First of all, Mac loves baseball and football more than hockey

Seconldy, I consider Mac to be almost "The Natural"-like with sports radio. Even with his limited interests he really doesnt do bad shows. He's just got the IT factor (if that exists in this slovenly medium)

Just my opinion but it amazes me that every time I thinik Mac is past his prime or just not interested enough, I listen to the show and he is great. The guy really was born for this.

And Laurence's knowledge of pop culture is Sketchy at the very best.

Let's not go back to his commens on 2pac's inferior flow or his romantic advice for the girl with the sign at the packer game.

Ive listened to him for about 7 years. As much as he tries to fight for Hockey's relavance, I believe he follows baseball and football way closer.
