Not sure why you are douchebagging the currency? After all, it was the US ratings agencies that ultimately contributed to its demise, not the European governments that thought they were investing in hightly rated assets. Dont be surprised when we go to war with Europe over this in years to come.

My remarks were not db'ing the euro (currency), which has, as BF noted, had a great run. I was commenting on the euros (people). As I learned in all my econ classes, everything is cyclical.
