Wow right out of the box Larry throwing blows. Mac relating the story of how he may be getting into it with some dude at his gym who has a problem with Mac bringing his autistic son with him , said something to the effect of " leash your monkey" to Mac. Larry immediately goes into full ass kicking mode how " that would've been it, there would've been consequences and repercussions " if someone had the unmitigated gall to say that to him. So scary was he that my trembling hands could barely ptfb.

Didn't hear it, but concur with Larry on this one. Not suggesting this was the wisest course, but if somebody calls your son a "monkey," something bad is likely going to happen to somebody.

Well sure but coming from Larry who has such a reputation for being a tough guy....Im figuring if that were Larry and his son then the kid would be doubly traumatized from being called a name by someone and then seeing his Dad get his ass kicked on top of it.

I don't know man... don't you kind of have to call shennagans on that story?
Maybe others can clarify, but who other than a truly sick person would talk to someone like that?
I'm not sure I buy this. :(

Laurence is a tough-talking little bitch. Likely never been in a fight. Probably had his big brother to hide behind his whole life. Run that bullshit elsewhere man.

See Ivan and Spark? Again, this is why I can't like Laurence as a host. I can't get around the phoniness. Dude just refuses to be himself.

Things that Annoy Me about Laurence:

1. Fancies himself a playa by referencing the ladies that visit his house.

2. Fancies himself a tough guy by making idle threats to no one in particular.

3. Fancies himself a hip hop expert by referencing 2Pac's supposed "inferior lyricism".

Bitch, please!

A young meathead that is waaay huger than Mac, I would think would likely be the culprit.

or, it could be that, although indelicately presented, the guy had a valid point. I don't know this as I have no idea how the kid was acting.

I think Darkside would have to analyze his hugeness ratio first to determine how rough and tough he is, though!

Ok, I get the first part... but I'm not sure I get the second part. What?

Hugeness aside, are there really people who act like that around kids with disabilities? I can't say that I've ever seen anything like that, although this has not directly affected my family so I am far from well informed on this. Does this kind of thing happen or was this a freak occurrence

no doubt. At the same time it is tough to throw down when you know you are in the wrong. It is also difficult to fight knowing that a person who lives in NWI and isn't on his way to work in the morning has nothing to lose and a lot to gain against one of the wealthier residents of the area.

Yeah, but it's pretty hard to raise kids from the hoosegow, AxeHombre.

Like I said up top, likely not the best course of action, but when people start attacking your kids all rationality goes out the window.
Trust me on this one.

If one story called for a "Man, I woulda threw down right there" reference, it was that one

He's just terribly insecure, which has a way of revealing itself every time he opens a mic and talks for a prolonged period of time.

Like I said, off the radio he's cool. On the radio, he acts like he has something to prove to people, which is just weak.

Contrast that to my guy Jason Goff, who just says "Fuck it...I'm gonna be me." As a result, he comes across as being a cool mofo without effort.

Laurence has a, "Hey everybody! Come check out how cool of a guy I am!" vibe.

In my eyes there is a very slight chance that Mac was wrong. The friends that I have with autistic kids take their kids places and see how they do. If they need to remove themselves they do, if they have an episode they deal with it, and I would think most people looking on have an understanding that something is going on. Mac has always sounded very aware, I can't imagine he was letting his son do anything that was completely disruptive to this guy's work out.

Your second point I could see.

Even if the kid was out of line, one could imagine a response something like, "hey buddy, your kid is getting in my way here, can you monitor what's he's doing?" Even that would be kind of assholish.

Dude was probably roided out.

I love the way your interactions have gone from malicious to comedic. There's an air of mutual respect between you two now. I like it. It only took two years.

Y'all would make a good two-man comedy team if this were the 1940s.
