So I have $400 on the table v Dealers 4....Dealer flips up...and she has a 4!!!!!!!!!!!! got about 20 people standing around the table now...dealer hits....ANOTHER 4!!! Dealer now has 12! Dealer hits....8 20

I fucking lose!!

Actually, went to the 3 card poker table and won trip 7's on 3rd hand which was an $1100 win...Karma

Not saying it is the by the book, but I would guess Double would be before splitting. The point being I understood I was not playing what an expert would call a better play. BUT, neither was the dealer then. Still, thats 12 cards without a face card for me. I dont think anyone else got a face card in the other hands and then the dealer has more cards with a ten.

I always like to take the opportunity to raise the level of excitement at the table. There is always one jerkoff in a Member's Only jacket with bad hygene/facial hair sitting at the end of the table who curses you for the move. I always jaw back at those piece of shit grinders.

i dont get why people get so worked up about how others play, particularly at low-limit tables. this past week when i was playing at a $10 table, my friend i was gambling with gave me shit about hitting a 12 with a dealer showing a 2, which is a basic fucking play. i got the small card i needed, and he felt that it fucked up his cards (i was at first base, he was towards 3rd). i told him to shut the fuck up and worry about his own plays, and if he didnt like the way we were playing he could knock himself out on the $50 tables down the way with the rest of the professionals.

when you play at a low-limit table, save your complaints about other peoples plays. if you are so fucking good go play high-limit somewhere. what do you expect when you play $5 tables? you are going to get people who are just learning and people who dont have a lot of money to lose who play conservative a lot. i personally get a kick out of some of the crazy shit you see at those tables, splitting when you should double-down, that kind of thing. sometimes it hurts you, other times it helps you, i just get tired of hearing other people bitch about how other people play.

A-fucking-men. This is why when I'm hitting the tables for blackjack I prefer to go with a group and fill the whole table. It's way more fun when everyone at the table knows each other and are there to have fun not to make a profit, consider the losses the entertainment tax and if you come out ahead, take the losers out to dinner.

Exactly. I like to have fun & talk with people, which is why I hate poker. Take a look at everyone in the poker room...no one is smiling, talking, interacting, or having fun. It just isn't for me. But yea, the guys who want to play blackjack like poker are dicks.

So during my recent trip to Las Vegas a few weeks ago, I'm playing Blackjack in the Bellagio at a $15 table, & I split aces, get a third ace, then a fourth ace. I'm alive on all 4 hands & the dealer busts & I win about $200.

People who make public demonstrations about a tablemate's blackjack play are idiots.

One card cannot determine what card comes next. The cards are in random order. I cannot take your 10 any more than you can take my 4.

If I don't like the guy next to me splitting Kings then it is my prerogative to get up and leave. But his splitting Kings cannot make the cards I receive any better or worse than I would have otherwise received, just different.
