Jason Terry played like one. Also that proves the point even more. Nobody is shutting down Dirk.

If Rose is able to be shut down, they need another great player to come thru in those times.

I don't think anyone can shutdown Rose. I think it's a mental hurdle he has to overcome. I believe he will but seeing him continue to do it bothers me.

Yet you're trying to sell us on the pattern that Rose gets bottled up by LBJ every time they play. Pick a lane.

Let's try comprehending what we're reading. It appears you have a problem with that.

Just reading what you're posting, bud. And it seems a bit contradictory.

wow some of you just don't see how great rose really is.. is rose afraid of labron?...no and rose is not afraid or intimidated by any player

the bulls "team" is deep but not great and that depth means nothing when the playoffs start and your 5 starters have to match their 5 starters...the heat have a better team than the bulls do and i think the heat win the east again this year.

the bulls front office is not good or smart..they lucked into rose and this team is garbage if they don't get lucky and land that number 1 pick..rip was not a good pick up..too old and he is not a good enough scorer to spread the floor. it is not over reacting to a road loss it is what it is...dengrose is making this bulls team look win mor egames than it should..but in the en this team can not beat miami..not dereks fault it is on gar/pax

That proves my point that comprehension is a problem for you. That's fine. Maybe you want to look it over a few more times. I believe you'll get it. You can do it!

Jason Terry played very well, as did Chandler. Using the term star to describe either one is diluting the word a bit too much though. And Dirk paid his dues for over a decade before it was his time. Some growing curves are longer than others, and some never quite get there(Webber). I think Rose will get there within the next 2-3 seasons. He's stupidly close now.

I don't even think you understand what you write on here sometimes; I really don't.

First you say that D Rose was "bottled up" in yesterday's game and then made the implication that there is a pattern of him faltering against LBJ.

Then you make the statement that one can't define a pattern by watching one game.

Why don't you drop some knowledge on me then as to what you mean, since you apparently think I have trouble reading words you wrote?

Thats easily not true. Watson was a great bargain addition. Gibson was an excellent pick outside the lottery. Asik was an excellent pick and they had the patience to wait for him. Noah was a good pick. Deng was a good pick. Boozer was a questionable signing but the Bulls were in desperate need of a PF at the time and in their defense they thought they were paying for Boozer's Utah production, not what they've gotten. And while they did luck into Rose, they took the right guy. Nobody would've been shocked if they took Beasley, who many believed would be much better. They also hired a very good coach after VDN took over. That bolded sentence is "dumbest thing on the board today" material.

     Since I don't drink as much anymore I'm always fully aware of what I'm posting.

I've talked about the pattern of Rose playing like he's scared of LeBron since last year. FF said I was reading too much into one game. Since it was clear that I WASN'T I responded "You can't get a pattern from one game". That means I'm not overreacting based off ONE game. I'm reacting to a pattern I've seen since the first round of the playoffs 3 seasons ago.

Are you able to understand that now?

Boozer in Utah: 34 MPG 54% FG, 71% FT, 10 RPG, 3APG, 1 SPG, .5 BPG, 19 PPG

Boozer in Chicago: 31.5 MPG, 51% FG, 70% FT, 9 RPG, 2 APG, 1 SPG, .4 BPG, 17 PPG

The statistics aren't as night and day as people think. In fact, add 3 minutes per game to his Bulls career and they could be the exact same. I think people's expectations of what Boozer is were incorrect.

He's talking about contract year Boozer.

Statistics dont show everything. Not only is he worse across the board statistically though, he's playing a much softer game than he did in Utah. There's a reason why even nationally there are no pro-Boozer people.

boozer is the same guy he has always been...deng makes too much money..last year was the first season deng really earned that money and stayed healthy...and taj was a great pick..watson is just a guy, a backup p.g. a dime a dozen..noah ?...i am not a fan of this guy starting here..bad defense and bad offense..hiring vinny was dumb..hiring thibs was smart. and i think ya got it wrong..i am guessing 80% of people who watch hoops knew rose was the best option with that pick.

agreed on boozer being the same guy he ha salways been..it started last year when that dummy bernstein compared him to moose muhammed...the bulls were desperate for a low post scorer because paxson can not draft a guy so they over paid...but they got the same guy they saw in utah.

You are wrong. There's no use continuing to debate you if your memory is that poor.

I havnt read the previous 7 pages but are you guys complaining about this loss? Its Miami. they were suppose to lose in Miami. If Rip doesnt turn it over so many times or Rose makes one fucking three pointer, they win. Boozer does not like to be muscled up. He will not play well against the Heat. So what. Team defense will win. They had enough.

They could have won. But they were suppose to lose.

"The Mask" needs to get bigger eyeholes! Jim Carrey might have done better than 4-16 shooting.

Sounds a lot like last years playoff series loss.

I just happen to be playing Bagels this week in fantasy ball, and Bagels just happens to have Derrick Rose on his team.

And Derrick just happens to be possessed because he probably read the board and Hova and others got him all pissed off.

And Derrick just happens to have 31 points. With 3 minutes left in the 3rd.

That was a fun 3rd quarter to watch. Rose had everything on display. I dont think hes getting over 40 though. His work is done tonight.
