Matthew Broderick is featured in an ad for the Super Bowl, which raises some speculation about a sequel.

Where Ferris grows up and marries a horse while pretending he's not ghey?

I always thought the original was overrated.

Cubs suck.

Ferris 2 plot outline:

Ferris calls off sick from work which he is well within his rights to do since he gets 5 sick days a year. He isnt really sick but he stays home while the wife is at work and kids are at school. He jacks it to some internet porn, plays some X Box and watches Die Hard while having a few day beers. Credits. The End.

Much better than lip singing in a lame parade and going to a baseball game.

I wonder if the opening sequence would show Cameron getting his ass kicked by his Dad.

The opening scene is Ferris visiting Cameron's grave because he was killed by his father.

I think we could write a pretty amazing script for this sequel.

Why mess with perfection? Same guy. This time it's even scarier because Ferris knows if he's caught, he's fucked...

I heard ESPN Radio's Sarah Spain suggest this "Ferris Bueller" ad you're referring as nothing more than a Honda commercial. That being said, the original "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" is my favorite movie. A sequel isn't necessary...

He's dead.

Thats the thing, you could write the real life story right into the sequel and not miss a beat

No wonder Ferris didnt want to go Second Mile High School

The Charlie Sheen character more than likely would have turned out like Charlie Sheen.

He's not? He should be.

In 2001, Jones was charged with selling cigarettes and trafficking marijuana to minors. He was fined $5,000 and sentenced to 100 hours of community service

What a jagoff. Hey while I rip your innocence and ruin your life, how bout I sell you some lung cancer?

i watched this whole commercial. and it's actually kind of sad...because it's very funny; but it is going to lose pretty much all of its excitement and "wow" factor by the fact that it's already been released. it has some very clever moments.

but now when i see it during the super bowl, i'm just gonna be like..."eh..."

shame.

The ad had a lot of promise and a great formula but could have been a lot better. No Ben Stein? No Alan Ruck in Red Wings sweater?

FAIL

I remember them from the original 1986 Paramount picture...

Ben Stein: "Bueller? Bueller? Frey? Frey?"
Alan Ruck as "Cameron": "Don't ask me to participate in your stupid crap you don't like the way I do it!"
