Do they need to get Kurt Thomas back or just play better than last year?

Kurt Thomas is with the Blazers. I don't see why they'd get rid of him and I also don't think hes worth giving anything up for.

The Bulls need Rose to be better than Lebron to beat the Heat. It's basically that simple.

They need health. A healthy Bulls team will destroy the Heat.

A well timed fight between Korver and Lebron.

They need help in the frontcourt, specifically a big man. If the Magic's Dwight Howard still wants nothing to do with the Bulls, I'd get a guy like the Timberwolves' Kevin Love instead. I don't think it'll cost an arm or a leg to get him off Minnesota, but a great deal of speculation has #42 in white, blue & green going to the Lakers. After all, Kobe and the those guys aren't getting any younger...

I don't think they need that much to beat the Heat. Dallas only had 1 superstar and they beat the Heat in 6 games. In the 5 game series against the Heat the Bulls were in just about every game in the 4th quarter. The problem was that Haslem and Miller outplayed the Bulls bench and Rose had a terrible series. Defensively the Bulls shut the Heat down. They just couldn't get enough scoring and I think maybe getting more scoring from the two guard will help with that.

If Lebron is going to cover Rose at the end of the game the Bulls have to come up with some way to make the Heat switch or have someone else handle the ball so he can score.

Well Greg the Bulls need to score more points than Miami. And then that gives them a real good chance of beating the Heat.

They needed Caron Butler but refused to give him the extra years. I was screaming that all summer.

James Johnson probably could have helped them as a backup to Deng off the bench, but he made too many mistakes in his limited playing time.

Ronnie Brewer > James Johnson

It's not even close.

Good point. I think LeBron James would be a good fit. What about him?

Maybe Garpax could trade White Mamba for Dwight Howard, then package Mike James and JL3 for OJ Mayo.

The only way to stop them from dunking is to give a little push. Does anyone remember Boozer giving Blake Griffin a little shot as he was going up last year in LA?

During his weekly visit to the "Danny Mac Show" on The SCORE today, Comcast SportsNet's Mark Schanowski said that unless the Magic's Dwight Howard has any intention on signing here beyond this season, the Bulls should forget about making any deal for Dwight. Schanowski also said that the Bulls might need to revisit a deal for the Grizzlies' O.J. Mayo, considering Richard "Rip" Hamilton's continuing injury status involving his groin & thigh.

All that being said, I'm not 100% sure any deal prevents Benedict LeBron and the Heat from celebrating the NBA Championship in June.

Or you know....play good defense and stay in your lane so they can't drive to the hoop....
