I looked through all the WrestleReunion pics. What the hell happened to Raven? He looks like shit. Great to see my guy Papa Shango back. Virgil looks phenomenal. The same can not be said for Mr. Ass.

The answer to the appearance of _________________ is usually drugs. It looks like my invitation to the Handsome Convention was lost in the mail.

I was going to say Sandman for the kid, but that's a complete guess.

Seems like all of the chicks look worse than most of the guys. I agree on Shango, Kevin Von Erich looked good too imo. So did Honky

No on Sandman. Hints would make it too obvious.

Mikey Whipwreck was the most frightening for me. He's not that old.

I put this up morning: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vs8omWaA ... AAAAAAABAA

Great if you like the rare old school stuff. If not don't even waste your time.

NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

The Midnight Express (U.S. Tag Team Champions, Challengers)
vs.
Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard (N.W.A. World Tag Team Champions)

September 10, 1988 The Civic Center Philadelphia PA

This comes from Jim Cornette's "Wrestling Rarities:Midnight Express" DVD and is perhaps the rarest match on the set. Most of these matches are fancams from JC's personal collection or are from Japanese TV. The quality of this particular match is a little rough compared to the rest of the set

Here are Cornette's notes on the match:
"In March 1987,Stan Lane replaced Dennis condrey as Bobby Eaton's partner in the Midnight Express.By this night the Express had been NWA US tag team champs for almost 14 of the previous 16 months, and had entered into a series of matches with the current World Champs,Tully & Arn,that were drawing big houses.

However,by the time we got to Philly, Tully & Arn were having problems with the promotion, and shocked everyone, including us, by coming into the Civic Center and quitting the NWA. We heard we were winning the belts about half an hour beforehand, and by luck if nothing else, it was to happen in Philly, where in the previous 18 months we had gone from the most hated team to the most popular team in town as the fans evolved into the "smartest" city in the country. This is the only existing footage of this historic and unplanned title challenge. The video is fair, but it shows the great teamwork of the two teams who were, at the time, the best in-ring teams in all of wrestling.

With me and J.J. Dillon in opposite corners, and Tommy Young doing his usual great job as referee, the match is a classic, with one of the most insane pops ever from the crowd of about 7,000 paying $72,000 when they realized we really HAD won the title. With this match, the Midnight Express hit the history books as the first team ever to hold both the United Sates and World Tag Titles at the same time."

Tommy Young might be greatest of all time. You're definitely not the only one who appreciates refs.

There are soooo many bad refs, but very few good ones. He was great.

Pop at the finish is awesome.

The best I've got is it looks like Michael Hayes taught his girl the fine art of the fanny pack.

Marty Jannetty was thrown through the glass right after the Batista picture was taken.

Ah, the Internet Wrestling Community. I can't get a girl other than my mom to talk to me, so I'm going to call women names. When I go searching for images for this thread, it's stunning the amount of unfunny pictures created with pure hatred. I thought these were pretty funny though.
