Let's see some of the big shooters step up out of Chris's basement!

It's the garage asshole. I don't want these people in my house for that long.

Maybe the next tourney @ Chris' should be a satellite to get a chair at this thing. We got 10 weeks to figure this out!

And fuck you and your dress code sir! I will wear a pair of Don Tiny's sweatpants that are covered in cat fur to this event if I go.

Cool. Now I only need $225 to get in the One Step game.

Yes I won the last game at Chris' two weeks ago, but my escort for the night cost me $160.

Cost you $160 to get a ride to Chris's?

Listening to Silvy, Freedell and Spain today, because Larry causes me to do that. Sara tells a story about "Working for an escort agency while in LA" and while it is about her picking up Gretzky in SUV and driving him somewhere, you get no comment from Silvy or Fredell???? on the "Escort" thing? I'm not sure I even own a pair of sweatpants.

I'll try to remember to wear track pants to the next game though, if you like.

registration went late - you could have made it by about 6:30 or 7pm and still been in line. frustrating for me as i showed up early. took advantage of the rebuy (twice) but that kept the field too strong going into the higher blinds. i was one of the last 50 out of 350 but disappointed by my middling chip stack in the face of bigger blinds i went all in under the gun on a prayer (K 4 suited) and lost the majority of my chips, only to win the next three hands on garbage cards. exactly what i was afraid of.

volunteer dealers were a bit of a pain. our guy was nice enough but made some easy mistakes. not to say that i didn't make any mistakes - this was my first live tournament and for the first two orbits i was kind of a wreck.

will write more later, but overall it was a fine time. would do it again.
