Sting's nine-minute interview can be heard at CNYKiss.com or in the player below.

Asked if he regrets not going to WWE, Sting said, "Yes and no. Who wouldn't want to say they did at least one WrestleMania? I'd like to be able to say I did at least one of those, and that would be it.

"I've had great conversations with him (Vince McMahon) over the years and been real close on probably three or four different occasions of going up there. But, there was always a need met or a desire of mine met with WCW and now with TNA, so I stay."

The topic was brought up when Sting stressed that a match with The Undertaker is at the top of his list of remaining dream matches his career.

I'd have to say the top one, and it's all over Twitter, I might as well just comment on it - Undertaker. Wrestling fans have wanted to see Sting vs. Undertaker for years. And, I think between his gimmick and mine, it could be pretty cool," Sting said.

Sting also addressed the yearly retirement discussions and being year-to-year with TNA. "Every year, I say, 'I think this will be the last year,'" he said. "Nostalgia is huge. For me, it's huge." He added that wrestling fans keep drawing him back in to wrestling every year.

Also in the interview, Sting discussed his routines with pain medication and warm-ups, picked the New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl, and noted he is currently living on a ranch in the Dallas, Texas area.

I respect Vince to a point, but I also kind of hate him.

He did what he had to do, and he succeeded immensely at it, but the territories died because of it.

Just like with TNA though, is it Vince's fault or the territories fault that they went away.

That rant aside, which has only a little to do with the original topic............

But wouldn't it be good for both businesses (WWE & TNA) and the industry to allow these companies to interact on TV?

This is something I said over a decade ago, substitute WCW for TnA. How awesome would it have been if both companies did a once or twice a year PPV against each other, maybe having crossover on each others' shows once in a while? WCW would likely still be alive, WWE's competitive juices would be flowing, and the sky would rain Skittles.

The territories would've went away without Vince anyway.

He made people shitloads of money.

As to the question from KS, in Vince's mind he gains nothing from interacting with TNA. No reason to do it.

I don't care about Vince's mind. I want to know what Terry's Peeps mind thinks about it.

I'd agree with Vince on that.

It'd be like the NFL letting the Toronto Argonauts play the NY Giants. No point.

They might have. Verne and Fritz and most of the others were getting more and more out of touch with the fans. Turner didn't know how to run a wrestling promotion. Basically, all the promoters got old at the same time. Much like the talent is continuing to do.

Vince didn't put Verne out of business. Verne did that.

You could swap in WCW or TNA when that bombs with Verne.
