Some of you are either in the biz or know it. Maybe one of you can help me?

We have 15 restaurant locations, Illinois and Wisconsin. Each location has 3 phone lines (voice, fax and data) and DSL, mostly through AT&T. Very expensive (hundreds of dollars per month per location). We have asked AT&T for better rates but that has not worked.

Any suggestions how to get our costs lowered?

Are you currently networked together a la Frame Relay or MPLS or something or are each locations stand alone? You sound like a perfect fit for ECC or "Cloud Communications".

Not that I know what any of that means but stand alone. Just regular AT&T phone and DSL service - each location receives a monthly bill from AT&T.

If each site has a solid internet connection, you don't need telco equipment on site or dial tone on site.
You just connect a phone thru your router, it connects to the interwebs and you're connected... local number for each site, plus 4 digit dial between sites. PM for info... I'm just getting off the development team for this... I have one of these at my house now. Pretty cool.
