The fight scene above basically shows man vs. man without the quick "Bourne" type editing we see now. I just don't understand how Hollywood can now create giant robots attacking Chicago or a world of Blue Aliens (Avatar) but can never get a basic fight scene right.

there are plenty of examples but i think taking a look at "aliens" and "the thing" are my exhibits A and B. those effects look just as terrifying now and always will be more terrifying than anything I've seen out of CGI. and CGI creatures have been quite uncreative in the past few years.
