That doesn't change the fact that Mac puts out a lazy, bullshit show and you all know it.

Mac leaving the board was pretty much right in line with him discovering facebook and deciding to engage his audience in a medium he has much more control over. He was able to ignore the posts like that for years prior while posting on the board.

Secretly though I bet it drives him nuts that the activity in this section of the board is pretty low. Talk of his show used to dominate this message board.

...and 85 percent of the talk in his section has nothing to do with the content of the show. It is either discussion of why the hosts suck, don't care, are on vacation all the damn time.......

There were some things that we talked about related to the show that he didn't want to hear about anymore, parody songs, old music, etc, but he told us that. The stuff you mentioned I agree with. I think I'd get tired of it too.

Mac is still good. Same as he always was.

Jurko would make him a little better.

Eh. I still Mac but to me it seems that he has throttled back a bunch and is coasting, plus Speigal really is the driver of the show now. I know they are trying to make it more of a "Man Show" with sports mixed in and I like some of the ideas (8 track Fridays among others) but the show is just missing something that would make it totally solid.

Again, the above is my opinion, man.

I listen to Mac about 10 times a year on random days off...so take that with a grain of coke

Mac, drinky, Ranger, etc. all had a mass exodus at the same time from the board to score sponsored facebook pages and Twitter. This was not a unilateral decision on his part due to hurt feelings. They were ordered away from the board by executives.

The reason he has less traffic here has much more to do with his time slot not allowing many to listen to his show.

I agree. Most of this board is clearly busy in the middle of the day and doesn't have time for trivial things like listening to a radio show.

-People then go to check Mac out back on the Score670 and find that he really kinda, sorta isn't all that great/not what they remember fondly so they don't listen all that much to M&S either.

-Said listeners just listen to music until 1pm when Chicago's own Radio Hero's come and take them away to Awesome Town.

If he made a difference he would be on morning or afternoon drive, not middays.

He shouldn't be stuck with recession contracts since he is the ratings magnet.
