ESPN is reporting the Bears have signed free agent QB Chris Leak from the Florida Gators.

Nobody...It would be a big surpise if Leak were to beat out Orton for the #3 spot.

I think the only reason this is news is because the guy has name recognition.

Leak won't play QB in the pros. You don't win the national championship as a QB, then not get drafted, and play QB in the NFL.

Everyone seems to be throwing dirt on the Orton grave. In reality, he should have never had to play a down in the league until year 4-5. I think he still has a future

Agreed. For now, as a #3 QB, I'm really happy with him, and hopefully he'll show improvement in training camp next season.
