Because of the idiot frat boys and pink hats that dont have a clue about any of the players. Yet they are the ones that keep the place full and keep the concession revenue flowing. It is a strange situation...

I think Len has to realize it isnt the best signing but he also works for the Cubs and is trying to generate interest. Tough line to walk, pander to the stupid while providing solid analysis.
