I understand the point, LEARN TO BUNT!

But what are they doing? Bunts need to hit a the flag? a Zone? the pile of money they have on the field?

Considering all the talk this "tourney" got, figured someone might describe it just a bit?

Just making a big deal out of it because the media has nothing better to do during spring training than make mountains out of molehills. Whether or not they win a world series this year, the bunting drill will have had little impact.

I understand both your points and agree, but WTF is it? Most bunts in a row? bunts to each side? closest to the line?

This is like Bears camp. You get nothing from the guys reporting.

I know Rizzo hit a 500 foot HR...great...heard that 4 times...but did he hit the ball the majority of times? or just one big HR?

Right, it's zones. Ball has to land and stop in the zone.

Did Theo also bring over a game of flippy cup in the clubhouse?

I like it. It is actually getting the entire team to give a shit about and focus on doing something they usually go through the motions on.

Probably a Sveum thing. If it was a Theo thing there would have been a keg at first base.

When I played in college we just had to get it down, but the coach would throw all kinds of junk. Anything other than a one hop thrown behind you, you were expected to get. If you didn't get it down we all ran.

This sounds like something from MVP Baseball, except there aren't, like, glowing wedges of field, or And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead songs playing.
