5 first baseman had at least 15 HR's and 65 RBI at the break last year and 11 had at least 15 HR's. Those are not ridiculous numbers for a major league first baseman.


God, you are fucking dense. They would be for a 29 year old AAAA guy that they plugged into a lineup this year.

Good point. No teams look for a left handed power bat who is tearing the cover off the ball at the deadline. I'm not saying LaHair will have this value, but if he puts up big numbers in the first half, he would be a hot trade commodity at the deadline.

There is no doubt the guy says AAAA, but when a player earns a chance and you have an opening, he deserves the look.
