He has seats a few feet away from the visitors bench. Does he work for the Bulls anymore? Is it common for a team rep to sit so close to the other teams bench? I've always thought it was a little weird. I picture Scottie and Thibs knocking down a couple of Colt 45s after a game talking about Scotties notes.

He does work for the Bulls, but unless he has some signals set with Thibbs he doesnt go back to the Bulls bench after listening to the vis.

Spy what exactly? Did you ever listen to a "mic'd up" coach on TV? Most babble about playing with energy,hit your shot,pass the ball. I've had better time-outs coaching 8th graders.

The good coaches in the league do a ton during the game. Having a voice on that side of the bench would be pretty valuable for future matchups.
