What if Danny Mac is just burnt out from radio? He got up one day and realized he either needed a change radio-wise, he couldn't stand the show setup, he can't stand doing the show with Speigs, he just hates radio now, all of the above, a combination of those or whatever.

Maybe Danny Mac is now at a crossroads....and he needs this time to figure it all out.

Do people get an extended leave for divorce, depression, or gayness? Do employers extend leave for these issues?

Well, in my opinion and the opinion of others on this board, Mac has been pretty "laid back" and seemingly disinterested in the show for a while now. Letting MeatPants firmly drive the show (over a cliff in some peoples minds, some think it's better) and all the days off he has taken, etc etc.

Is it so far out of reason that he wants a change? Perhaps a change in career, maybe he regrets re-upping before he was totally sure if he liked MeatPants for another few years, liked the time slot, liked the shows direction. And maybe he want's to be an Indian or perhaps a professional traveling gambler. Who fucking knows.

Maybe he doesn't want to end up like Terry Boers.

and he loves to sing! He can get a chance to play all those roles!!
