Excellent questions to Hoyer about why he thought Rizzo was brought up to early? What things he saw that made him think it was too early.

Hoyer said that when Rizzo did poorly, he started changing his swing and getting away from what he did well in the minors.

Been waiting for someone to ask this question for 2 months now! as all I heard is Hoyer saying he brought Rizzo up to early.

What show is Conor hosting that he was able to pull an interview with Hoyer?

Hit and Run, or as I still enjoy calling it, Hit and Ralph. I started listening to this every Sunday last year. Rozner and Spiegel are a great pairing. As Big Fan stated, Connor was solid during the interview and has been a good fill-in for Spiegel today.

Did he ask Hoyer if they had corrected Rizzo in San Diego or if they are still in the process of doing it now that both are with the Cubs.

Drop In's right. It was on "Hit and Run."

For a guy that won a contest, I have been generally happy with him on the air. After just a few weeks on the Hawks beat, he is already better than Jesse Rogers.

Connor is a pro. He has worked out just a little bit better than Maya Gavin.
Connor has a bright future.

Yep.

From a distance it seems that good ole' Connor, who in Meats eyes is probably "just a producer!", is putting more effort into and adding more onto Hit and Run than Speigs is.

Connor's heading out to that Arizona crib that Laurence Holmes was staying at while he was covering Spring Training...

He's good, but "Connor McKnight" is a really douchey name. I'm sure that was beyond his control, though. When your given name is Connor McKnight, it's like you're already destined for broadcasting. I look forward to the day he replaces Eric and Kathy at the Mix, as host of McKnight in the McMorning.

Well, The Mix always has someone who could host morning drive if Eric & Kathy eventually leave. That's Brian "The Whipping Boy" Paruch. Remember him?

Yes, but ten years from now, there'll be no Paruchs at all.
