I find it funny that Hammond and Skiles have not said anything about the trade, makes me wonder if Ellis will ever suit up for the Bucks.

Would you believe the Bucks are the #8 seed in the Eastern Conference playoff picture despite all of their injuries, even before the trade yesterday?

Anyway, Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix guest hosted "The Dan Patrick Show" today and will do so again tomorrow. Shameless plug aside, Mannix mentioned that the Knicks will likely tell Mike D'Antoni to get lost after the season, and he hinted earlier today that they'll make a big run at Phil Jackson to coax himself out of retirement.

He also mentioned another name, and that's Kentucky head coach John Calipari. Yes, Calipari's Kentucky team is #1 and likely will lose Anthony Davis after the NCAA Tournament, but Mannix mentioned this morning that Calipari is actually thinking about a return to coaching in the NBA. This despite the facts that Calipari hasn't been nearly the success in the NBA than he has been in the college game.

No...Mannix also added that he thinks the NBA Trade Deadline tomorrow will be surprisingly quiet.

It is a transaction. Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports Mike D'Antoni has indeed resigned as Knicks' head coach.

Good for him. Let that team sink.

The amount of talent on that team is insane. Still can't believe how poorly they have operated.

You got that right...Mike Woodson, formerly the Hawks' head coach down in Atlanta, will take over the Knicks' head coaching duties on an interim basis starting with tonight's game vs. the Portland TrailBlazers at Madison Square Garden, Yahoo! Sports also reports.

They should trade Melo for Joe Johnson. Bring Iso-Joe to NY.

Not really

Carmello-Scores, does nothing else

Amare- Soft, outside shooting, shell of his former self

Lin- Decent Pg with waaaay too many turnovers

Tyson Chandler- One dimensional player

Baron Davis- Terrible

J.R. Smith- Value is in the Chicken dance

They have a lot of names, not neccessarily talent

That's Jeremy Lin's problem. He was turning it over way too much.

A few other Knicks' observations...Chuck Swirsky on the ESPN Radio/Bulls Radio Network broadcast told Bill Wennington near the end of the 1st half Monday night that Baron Davis had questionable body language as Lin replaced him. Carmelo Anthony doesn't play a lick of defense and didn't even want J.R. Smith to sign with the Knicks when his deal in China expired. The only guy playing ANY defense was Tyson...

That game was almost a year ago. And the Knicks lost.

Yes, that one game definitely proves he's an all around threat.

Nevermind the career 3.1/3.0 Assist/Turnover ratio
