yep..niners and jets...only thing that is a plus for him is A...he may have not liked harbaugh or the broncos division is so weak he knows they are div champs already.

Broncos have a good D and play in a terrible division. If Manning can do what he did in Indy with that offense, then they could win super bowls. Indy's defense was always worse than what the Broncos have now.

Yeah but the 49ers have a great defense and really good pieces on offense. There really is no comparison to the teams.

Why are the Jaguars giving up on their #1 pick after 1 season? Seems weird.

No I do not. But I think they have a better chance of making a run in that scenario if they keep Campbell.

If the Bears want to keep their chances of winning "right now" as high as possible, they hold on to Campbell as their backup.

Elway will dump him off to the NFC....maybe even the NFC North as he won't have to see Tebow for 3 more years then. If its a ring he is after then I'm sure his agent has TT's number.

Not really

he's not worth a 2nd rd pick.

You could sign another serviceable backup and now you have another high pick.

I agree he wouldn't be worth a 2nd-rounder, but I also don't think the Bears want to deal with another "serviceable" backup situation.

I will agree with skip on this. Gabbert sucked balls balls and more balls last year and Henne is nothing to speak of.

More of a decision of Money. Tebow sells tickets in Jacksonville and Gabbert right now doesn't.

Possibly Smith stays with the Niners and Tebow goes to the DOlphins.

Does anyone think Manning is going to get injured and/or suck?

I think Manning is too smart to come back and suck. I think he will put himself in situations to succeed by making certain play calls.

There is always the chance for injury, but he has always proven to be very good at avoiding sacks and pressure with his play calling.

I'm of the opinion that Manning should have retired. Then again, I also thought Ted Bruschi was acting selfish for coming back to the NFL after suffering a stroke.

Maybe they'll split duty, like Rex and Neckbeard did here. One gets injured, the other goes in. One is off for a holy retreat, the other shows up to the game.

Manning, if healthy, will do great things in the Mile High City. That team carried Tim Tebow to the 2nd round. Tim Tebow. W/ an adequate QB, they should EASILY make the 2nd round, maybe the Conference Championship. I just wonder if Peyton will get along w/ team President (?) John Elway. I'm sure ol' Johnny boy will have TONS of advice for Peyton, who doesn't really need, nor want it.

No one really knows how healthy Peyton is now. I dont believe that there is any precedence for the injury that he had & the treatment that he chose. I have no reason to believe that Peytons career wont end any differently than any of the other HOF QB's who changed teams late in their careers...Montana, Favre, ETC. Typically, these guys never achieve the success that they had in the past. The Colts were loaded with talented skill position players. The Broncos aren't. I really thought the Niners were setting the table for Manning with the recent signing of Moss & Mario, & along with Davis & Gore, that is one hell of an Offensive team. If Peyton wanted another shot at winning a Super Bowl, he would have gone to SF. They are loaded & will be good for many years.

Look at the AFC West.

Compare AFC vs NFC.

Manning's in the easiest division in the NFL to make the post-season and have at least 1 home game at one of the best home-field advantage
locations in the NFL.

And currently the NFC is loaded relative to the AFC.

Much easier path to the Super Bowl via the AFC and easiest of all via the AFC West.

The Niner's division blows, & they have a much better chance of getting to a Super Bowl than the Broncos.

i'm really not sure why he picked the broncos over the 9ers, because they ARE loaded and ready to win now. the NFC has more teams to get by and has gotten better...but still in the AFC you still have the patriots, ravens, texans, steelers...

maybe there is something to bros before bowls.
