I never said you were personally attacking him. I just found it humorous that I guy on a message board boldly proclaims a highly regarded and acclaimed sports writer's work as awful, bad and dumb.

It reminds me of being in Wrigley field and hearing some guy keep talking about how Brandon Phillips sucks, he's overrated, he strikes out all the time, he's a hot dog, on and on an on. When Phillips came up the next inning he shouted out, "You suck Phillips!!".

So I turned and asked him and he confirmed that he truly believed Phillips "sucked" as a baseball player (career batting and field statistics and Gold Gloves not withstanding). Of course, I asked him where he played his ball.

My point is that you went on the offensive immediately with his work being awful, bad, and dumb. You can read any sports article in Bleacher Report and it is guaranteed to be awful, bad and dumb. You may not have liked his style or his points (while many others did and the marketplace validated this), but there's a fairly wide chasm between that and the words you used.

I noticied you lightend up after you were called out. So you've got that going for you.

Do realize how smug and arrogant this whole post comes off as or do you have no self awareness?

Who is entitled to have an opinion on things? Only people who are paid to do so?
