No. Even though I consume a lot of sports talk radio, I'll text before I call.

Well how about you make that first call today.

CSFMB needs you to show us all how it is done.

Sorry to disappoint you. I don't have time or patience...

By the way, I did make it on to "Ask Herb" the other night w/Goff...

See SHARK you are a rising star.

It is time to step up to a phone call to the boys. It is Friday, it is time for a SHARK attack.

If SHARK makes it onto "Boers & Bernstein", it'll come by way of text or Twitter. Whether or not it gets read on air, it's up to the guys themselves.

Did B&B think some rube from Tulsa would have a hard time coming to Illinois and recruiting as well?

Rodewald, discipline hearings over the phone can lead to no more than a five-game suspension, not at least. Stop repeating this twice an hour.

That rube only won with Kruger's recruits

Bruce Weber had an 89-65 record in the Big Ten.

Why does Terry keep saying he had a losing record?

I think that may be over the past five years or something. Maybe he is just plain wrong.

That manager from Illinois was wrong. Lewis Jackson wasn't recruited by Illinois because they thought they had better. He was from Decatur. Does he not realize that Illinois takes guys from central Illinois every year?

As for Hummel wanting to go there but he couldn't because he needed Chicago guys, that's not true either. Illinois took one player out of Westchester, two from central Illinois, and two from out of state. Hummel did have some family who worked at Illinois but I don't think Illinois was ever a factor for him.

My guess is they are referring to Weber's record with players he recruited, although I have not heard them throw out that caveat.

I remember that. If I recall correctly, he really wanted to go to Illinois but Weber wasn't interested.

Yeah. He made it pretty clear he was upset that Illinois didn't even recruit him. They had Frazier, McCamey and Brandon Paul coming so they didn't think he was good enough.

A Sergei Krivokrasov reference.

I love Live Ringers.

And a Sid Vicious reference as well!

Dan Monson went to the tournament 5 out of 7 years.

Yeah, 4 of those 5 were the NIT. Nice call.

I don't know how an Illini fan can listen to this show. B&B are nothing compared to the stupidity of callers about Illinois.

Is my order correct on this?

Bernstein has been reporting that, according to his sources:

- Illinois wants a black coach
- Illinois is willing to consider a white coach
- Illinois is going after Shaka Smart
- Illinois is going after a well known Top 10 coach who is disgruntled with his AD
- Illinois is going after the Butler head coach

Everyday, they make the point that Bernstein is on top of the story.

Has he been? It seems to me that he hasn't been, and is probably just following some blog that he likes to read. If he ends up right, it would seem to be more luck than anything else.
