Waiting for the time when I can finally say
That this has all been wonderful, but now I'm on my way

i stumbled upon these last nite. from my/our old band...oh i wanna say 2 or 3 years ago now (just as i was becoming a P-1). we had some great songs, but our drummer sucked and things fell apart shortly after my 21st bday. i hate the quality of these recordings, nothing like we've done on the Mbox out here. the drums sound like tin cans, and my bass is buried so low in the mix that you can barely hear it. now i hear these and the best part about them is "the dude" sample we stole.

the singer, guitarist and i are still together, and with the songs my other friend and i have done out here in big sky, we've got at least 2 hours worth of originals and if we get a drummer this summer (so yeah, if any of youse know a drummer looking for a band, send him my way!), we'll get some shows and who knows after that. DL at your own risk..

i just listned to that 'hoppin fences' for the first time in ages. if you happen to listen to it, you may notice that right about 3:10 i miss a note on the base. my headphones cut out while we were recording, so i couldnt hear a damn thing, but being the consumate professional, i had to just watch the drummer in the other room and hope i was in time. for the most, i guess i was.
