This will come back to bite the Bears. Philly offered him next to nothing. If Tommie isn’t healthy and if Dusty isn’t what he’s advertised to be, our DT situation might be a problem.

If he is so good, why did he get such a small contract?

It may end up being a bad move, but it won't make that big of a difference.

He’s not a great player, but he’s pretty solid. Plus, he’s been in the Bears’ system for a few years now and knows it well. He’s better than Antonio Garay and Israel Idonije, 2 names you might be hearing a lot of next year. Hope I’m wrong.

You are. As Grid would tell you (and many others across the web as well) the Bears have plenty at DT. I agree with him.

Ian Scott did not even dress for several games last year.
