The "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?' Tavern Tour" takes the "Boers & Bernstein Show" this Friday afternoon to the Ultimate Sports Bar in Yorkville between 1:15p-ish & 6p. Needless to say, it won't just be Bulls' tickets in the Bud Light Legends Lounge for an upcoming game that'll be given away during the live broadcast.

The guys might preview the Pistons/Bulls' game this eve, likely with Richard "Rip" Hamilton back from a shoulder injury, but not Derrick Rose with the groin injury sidelining him for a 9th straight game and maybe Sunday's nationally televised game in Oklahoma City as well.

The guys might also replay the interview with Illinois' maligned athletic director Mike Thomas in regards to the hiring of new head basketball coach John Groce this morning on the "Spiegel Show". There may also be talk about the Saints' Sean Payton appealing his 1 year suspension for his role in "Bounty-Gate" and the likelihood of more penalties from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

There's also a big Blackhawks' shootout winner over the Blues last night that moved the Hawks thisclose to clinching a playoff spot. Too bad DIRECTV viewers like me might be shutout of this weekend's back-to-back games vs. the Predators in Nashville tomorrow & Sunday vs. the Wild at the U.C. due to a dispute over retransmission involving WGN's parent company Tribune Broadcasting. WGN's CW9 has the games this weekend.

All of that, and might Mike from Milwaukee offer Final Four picks for tomorrow's games? He was right on the money taking Ohio and the points vs. North Carolina. Who does he like between Louisville/Kentucky & Ohio State/Kansas tomorrow in New Orleans? Only one way to find out...

Yeah, that trip requires an empty 2 liter gatorade bottle.

Man, I thought Oswego was the southwestern frontier of greater Chicago. Apparently you can go beyond that? Here there be monsters.

Hearing that Friday open, complete with SCORE Production Director Russ Mitera's voice makes it official. Here's the Friday game plan live from Yorkville:

*1:40p: CSNChicago.com Bulls' Insider Aggrey Sam
*3p: BTN's Tim Doyle-Previewing the Final Four
*3:30p: "The Second Half"

"Scoreboard Updates": Connor "Going to Cube Tomorrow Night" McKnight
Studio Producers: Jason "Working w/LoHo @ 9a Wednesday" Goff & Chris "Capt. Indestruco" Tannehill
On-Site Engineer: Dave "Still Affordable" Miska

Yet another RED ALERT! RED ALERT! follows Terry & Dan tonight @ 6p back at the SCORE Studios. Because they are short on staff, The SCORE will go to Yahoo! Sports Radio come 10p this eve when ZZ wraps up.

Everyone was having such a good time without Capt. NoFun around.....now he's back and it's back to boot straps, handcuffs, bad NBA thoughts and reading statistics verbatim from a website.

Not that I'm aware. Will he be at this 20th Anniversary Roast in 2 weeks? After all, like him or loathe him, North was one of the reasons why The SCORE was popular when they first started on Belmont Ave.

Why is Bernstein going after Drew Brees for wanting an explanation of why Payton was suspended? Didn't Bernstein say that what happened wasn't a big deal after he said it was a big deal? Is he back to saying it was a big deal?

For a guy that is always hammering away at people for not "picking a lane" and such....he sure is swerving all over the fucking road all the fucking time.

Just more bad thoughts from BernSTINE.

Oh, wow. I was kidding about the blacks in baseball thing. Dan just teased it. Time for some caller-baiting! He's the master of it.

He mentioned a baseball-related topic come 4p, but BTN's Tim Doyle is in the on-deck circle to preview the "Final Four" and discuss Illinois' decision to hire the David Kaplan/Woody Harrelson-looking, Charlie Sheen-sounding John Groce to replace Bruce Weber as men's head basketball coach after Connor's 3p update and the legal ID.

Which is no problem in my book. Radio might be more interesting if people drank more.

So, let me get this straight, since they are apparently going to harp on this for as long as the guy is in the job, if I am interviewing 5 people for a job and 3 of the candidates cancel before the interview, I then hire one of the other 2, then that person is my 4th choice?

So B&B's position is that Stacey King's bit is funny at first but him doing it everytime is tiresome and somewhat Bush League?

Not only is King employed by an ownership that is quite comfortable with such bits youcanputitontheboard/canofcorn/gas/ducksnort/don'tstopnowboys but the bits are sponsored. Worrying about the "national" audience or how it replays on the booyah network doesn't pay the bills. Is King excessive? Sure. But as to being the root of a lack of drama this Bulls season I suggest that it's the Heat not destroying the rest of the league in this DB pre-ordained Heat championship season.
