Take Steps, Be Heard for Crohn's and Colitis 2011

My roommate has Chron's disease and will be doing this fundraising walk at Solider Field on Saturday. The walk will take place on the Great Lawn on the east side of the field. Darkside and I will have to shake our Katie O's hangover quickly, as we will be hitting the Main Stage near the Field to provide the musical entertainment for the evening. We should be starting around 4-4:30. If you can come on out for a bit, that would be great. If you can donate a couple of bucks to a worthy cause to help some good people, that would be awesome as well!

My purse was stolen last night and because I have to deal with related issues I won't make it today.

I'll be doing this again. I know its a long way off, but it was really a good time last year. Was a great venue to play at, and the people that walked said it was very nice to take a stroll up and down the Lakefront. There will be live music by at least part of MFD. The Walk is Sat June 9th at the 'Great Lawn' just east of Soldier Field. MFD will be playing along with my Dad and his drummer friend, Ron.


There will be a benefit party in the Oak Lawn area on Saturday June 2nd that anybody is welcome to attend. Booze, food, games etc...and music by part of or all of MFD in the early portion of the evening. No "admission", but everybody does something to help out; buy a Tshirt, raffle tickets, a straight donation, etc.

i don't think the songs (in the set list) that were written originally on the acoustic would translate to electric...i also think this should be in an email.

I'm pretty sure we played a dozen or so of our acoustic songs last year and it was fine. Its just background noise anyway for the most part. I'll likely be playing an acoustic guitar fwiw

Anyway....yeah the party will be a blast. The walk is fun too. We will likely be partying back on the Southside after the walk as well.
