I read a bit about Strasburg before his injury, and his "inverted W" form. Why isn't it just "M" :?:

deep thoughts...

Shades of when Ian split time with Colorado and Triple "A" Colorado Springs...

I loves me some LaRoche. Only cleanup hitter worse than Soriano or Dunn.

No worries about Adolfo in the cleanup hole hole, as soon as LaHair comes back to begin his NLROY - Triple Crown winning season!

Gordon Shumway would be a better option.

I fully trust those 3 to clean up at the wrigleyville bar of their choice come later this evening.

Gordon Shumway would be a better option.

WGN America used to air that '80s sitcom not that long ago as part of "Outta Sight Retro Night", the one called "ALF". As for James Gordon Beckham, I get that feeling he's going to have a good year both defensively & offensively. I don't like that the Scott Bakula-looking Brent Morel is batting 2nd tomorrow, Adam Dunn batting 3rd, & Dayan Viciedo batting 8th. In fact, Viciedo in left field...As FOX's Thom Brennaman would say, "It's a recipe for disaster."
