This asshole should be banned from the NFL for life.

The audio quality isn't real good, Scorehead, but Gregg Williams is as good as done as a coach on any level.

Something tells me this isn't terribly over the top in real life NFL locker rooms. KILL EM FUCK EM STICK EM CHRIST! GET YER STICK INTO HIS TEETH AND LET HIM KNOW YOU'RE THERE!

I'm just not ready to call Greg Wlliams Hitler over this. But it got public, and he got pinched so he'll just have to forget about a job for a while.

100% agree. Many are saying that the speech is not atypical.

He just was stupid for speaking it when a documentary was being recorded.

He likes to be outraged. Maybe he likes Lovie's Jiminey Crickets approach. I doubt it.

The XFL could come back I guess. I would still agree he's done because he really wasn't that good of a DC to be worth the hassle.

I'm sure every other locker room in the NFL has halftime or pre-game speeches hosted over tea and crumpets.

The irony of this whole issue just continues to amaze me.

Does he not also say to "hit him in the outside ACL"?...as if Crabtree is some type of anatomical freak show with multiple ACL's within 1 knee?

Do you mean hypocrisy or something else?

Ironic would be if his own player got injured trying to injure the other one.

Every coach specifically mentions to go for Crabtree's ACL to show he's a Prima Donna.

Michael Crabtree's been a bust so far, but that's besides the point.

When you think Crabtree and the NFL you think dominant blocking TE Tom Crabtree.

Hypocrisy is probably the correct word.

Sport that employs and ecourages players hitting other players, who then sometimes get injured = good.

Sport with a team comprised of employees that pays employees to injure other players intentionally by hitting = bad.

EXACTLY! i've been sour on double g for quite some time and it basically started after the seattle playoff game. i can't really bitch about the '09 season at all...all of his DICKERY got him somewhere. he'd better enjoy that ring, it's the last he'll get.

both he and payton are arrogant asswipes. payton's done a better job of showing off his genius and has had the right players to do it with. G money has shown that he blows it when it counts in BOTH playoff game losses following the superbowl season.

the 9ers game at least the defense kept them in the game...then suddenly it was kill yourself and the body will follow because that's what happened to them in the final minute of that game.

seattle though...was inexcusable.

fuck him and i'm glad he's gone. payton should have to take his medicine this year, too. no soup. nada.

I hear Kenny Williams tweeted that it would be good if he never ends up in the same room as Greg.
I guess Gregg mentioned harming Kenny's son in his over-the-top "instructions".

I don't know man, while I agree I am sure things are said that are very violent in every lockerroom. But IMO it crosses the line when it is talking about specific injuries on specific parts of the body on specific players, and saying that he will pay for the first one.

So for example, if the Bears were playing the Pats and Lovie was telling the team they are going to fucking hit Tom Brady every time they can and they are going to get in his head and try to fucking dismantle his body that would be probably pretty normal for the NFL. But if Lovie started saying he wanted them to hit Bradys knee every fucking time they had a chance and make sure they were going to tear his ACL and if they were successful he would pay them money for it, that is taking it to a level that crosses the line.

RFDC, I would say your 100% right with your example of the Lovie with the Patriots.

Gregg Williams said to hit Kyle Williams to see if he recovered from a concussion.
