The champions obviously.

But since we don't know the champs yet, I'll go by best record for now.

Yep. After the loss to the Thunder he kept pointing out how many indications in the game showed the bulls were not a title contending team while at the same time trying to say the wins over the Heat, Spurs, Magic, Boston, etc don't mean anything.

The bad NBA thoughts need to stop. BernSTINE is tying himself in knots and looking like an idiot when he tries to say what you mentioned above. It's PTFB.

Bad NBA thoughts all around. Which shocks me to my radio listening core because B&B have a real live honest to God NBA EXPERT AND INSIDER in the studio with them!

So is missing clutch free throws Rose's "thing"? Because I do not approve of that.

It's truly amazing that Rose could score 29 after bernstein talked to people who know and they give him "that look" that says Derrick is finished for the season.

For BernSTINE to get any "look" from anyone regarding any inside info would take him actually knowing anyone of consequence.

He doesn't.

Also, isn't Goff the NBA EXPERT AND INSIDER? Shouldn't he be the one "in the know" and the person that has "inside guys", if you'll pardon the expression?

Too much bullshit from these clowns sometimes.

So I was at the game. Yeah me! I can overpay for tickets just like rich folk!

First, for the game. Hamilton and Rose just didn't work in the first quarter. It was like they didn't know what to do. I left the game thinking that Rip Hamilton is useless for them unless it's to shoot free throws to win the game. Bulls turned it on and completely outclassed the Knicks for the rest of the game. They just couldn't finish. 4 missed free throws and two missed chances to win. It was the Carmelo show though. It's amazing how fun he is to watch but I can imagine it's tough to watch when he's not having a great game.

You all watched the game, and you have FavreFan to tell you the important stuff, so I don't need to go further.

As for the stadium and other things. It's pretty cool. I still much prefer the United Center. The UC is new and nice. Madison Square Garden is in need of some serious renovations, which have started. I was at the top of the 100 level and my seat didn't have a cupholder but it had so much legroom that people could walk to and from seats without me even moving my legs. Very comfortable but also very strange that you are in the "worlds most famous arena" and yet you can stretch out but no cupholder. The concourse outside my seats were renovated and was pretty awesome. World class restaurant chefs making custom menus. They still had the standard hot dogs and nachos too. We ate beforehand so we only had some popcorn. 20 oz beers were 8.75 for domestics, 9.50 for imports, and 10.00 for specialty beers(like Hoegaarden). Not bad for NYC. The lighting, the seats, the ceiling all seem very old school. It's probably on the way to being the Wrigley Field of basketball because there is no way you can tear that place down and rebuild it.

For some reason, Elton John and Billy Joel have numbers retired in the rafters. Don't know why, but it's probably because the Knicks don't have any titles to put up there.

Linsanity is far from dead. The amount of shirts probably went in this order: 1) Carmelo, 2) Amare, 3) Lin. There were an inordinate amount of Asians all wearing Linsanity shirts all over the place, which was strange because I don't think Lin was even in the building. He's going to get every chance in the world to be the starter there, and he probably should because Baron Davis sucks. Knicks fans are a very quiet crowd which surprised me. There wasn't a whole lot of noise being made until the fourth quarter when the intensity was taken up a notch. A good amount of Bulls fans there too. No fights that I saw.

I highly recommend the trip, not only for the game, but for the city. You guys in the flyover states would enjoy big city living if only for a weekend.

Please step back and look at this team! They are a one trick pony as Rose goes thats the way the go,if he has a bad series they are over.

They've played well without him. I think that'll help in the playoffs. In fact they were better when he went to the bench in the 1st quarter.

This current crop is just a directly post-MJ team with a decent PG.

That's it.

Roy Hibbert is going to tea bag them with his gym bag sack.

Nas, coming off an injury Thibs didn't use any other options at the end, so how does that help?

I think the Bulls playing well without him gives a lot of guys confidence and will make the Bulls better going forward. They came back from 21 points down. Rose was clearly rusty and tired. He won't be either when the playoffs start. I'm excited about this team. I believe they're going to the Finals.

Playing well without him means nothing ,because Thibs didn't get anyone else involved at the end...where was deng at the end of the game?

Hibbert will be ineffective against our front line. The Bulls can best any team in the East except Miami even without Rose in a playoff series. They need him at pretty much 100% to win the Finals though.

Missing free throws. I understand what you're saying but Rose is going to take those shots at the end of the game because he is the star.

At least Rose WANTS to take shots at the end of the game.

It was the Boos 1st game w/ Rose back and they only loss by 1, so it's like BFD. They'll win the next one by 40 and you all will splooge all over your plasmas again.
