fairly bold, comsidering wells will have a hell of a time getting 12 wins from the pen

Jeff Samardzija leads the Cubs into the playoffs.

Becoming a number one starter, Samardzija wins 19 games, making a formidable rotation with #2 Matt Garza and Contract seeking #3 Ryan Dempster.

Marmol Wood and Wells lock down the 7,8,9

Dejesus and Stewart have career years and the Cubs take off after Rizzo and Jackson are called up in June making the Cubs a solid pitching/defense run prevention team.
