Killed in action in Afghanistan on April 7th, 2012. He was in the back left seat of a humvee when it got hit on the driver side by an RPG. Him and the driver died, the two in the right and the gunner survived. I found this out late last night and have gotten maybe 3 hours of sleep since. Out of the now 4 guys I have known that went over there and didn't come back this one definitely hits the hardest. He was my roommate in AIT at Ft. Leonardwood and the first real friend I made in the Army.

He was a huge Miami Dolphins and FSU fan, as well as the stubbornest damn Monopoly player I've ever seen($500 for Baltic Ave seems a little unreasonable to me). He would go on a spirited rant at least once a week on why Biggie was better than Pac even though he knew I didn't give a shit. He'd always pause in the middle and say "You better be listening to me MF'er" as I was playing Madden or something . He joined the Army for the college money, he wanted to be a history teacher and HS football coach. He also had a 3 year old daughter named Jada.

I'll miss ya Morgan, RIP.
