I actually used the word "gay" as a derogatory term the other day. It was probably the first time I have used it since I was in high school, but I think it was completely appropriate in the situation I used it in. I was driving with the wife on Tuesday, and the car in front of us had a bumper sticker for the New Trier Sailing Team. My only response to seeing that was, "Gay!".

Yeah, thats one thing that I have to work on.

I dont say it as much, but I still do occassionally describe something as gay.
