Instead of picking how many Cubs wins they will get each series, I will just pick how many runs they will score.

This series: 7

Hopefully there will be no Byrd vs the Red Birds.

If Maholm goes 8 2/3, james noodle might have a heart attack.

If Maholm goes past 5 innings, it might cause a heart attack. That guy sucked last time out.

Yeah, that was a huge disappointment. I expect him to be good more times than bad.

Well what do you know. We got us an April replacement for Ramirez. 4-0 with one out in the first. Nice effort Stewart. 4 hits so far and 1 Stewart 3 run homer.

Bob  Referring to David Freese as being "in heat" during last years playoff run produces bad visuals.

Great AB Byrd. Don't be afraid to actually take a pitch or two....or you can just swing first pitch every single time because that really seems to be working for you.

Dump his ass and get Jackson up here. The Cubs line-up would look a lot better.

I know the smart thing to do is let him play well and then trade him but and I know this season was a wash before it started.....but it is painful watching him. He has started so bad that its going to take forever to get him back to being marketable. If they dumped him it would be Sappelt or Campana and not Jackson at this time.

IF the Cubs do have a winning season,LaHair & Stewart will have to do what they did so far today. I believe they can.

Both Vitters and Stewart have been mashing to start the season. Stewart was actually pretty good once and Vitters is just 1 year behind where everyone wants him to be. He has actually progressed through the minors nicely but its taken him that 1 extra year to get there. He gets promoted, struggles, returns to the level the next year and is good, gets promoted mid season.....

The Cubs have absolutely lit 2 of the best pitchers in baseball the last 2 days.

Byrd's defense sucks too, a couple times he appeared to take some bad routes and his range his sub par.

Thats what has pissed me off. He missed a cut off against the Nats that let a runner advance to 2nd too. The hitting will probably improve but his defensive effort has been weak.
